Man's justice is based on the authority that God has given them. .
Yes, you believe your god is the only real god. I understand that.
if you can embrace that reality (because it IS reality), then it really doesn't matter that most religious people are in direct opposition to each other in terms of opinion.
I thought we already showed the difference between the Koran and the Gospel. They are different. Try to see the difference and maybe you will understand the difference between the two.
No point in focusing on the mistakes. There is only one god.
Aren't we all taught by someone about the nature of things? Humanity would have never progressed had not someone from the past taught them the basics and they took those basics and expanded them to a new line of thinking. I too was taught that God is good and I have found the evidence of that based on my observations of nature. Indeed people interpret their surroundings based on the knowledge that they are founded on.None of which explains how you know this god is good. I'm willing to wager that you were taught that he's good, and further, were taught that he's necessarily good - no matter what he does.
They dont care anyway.
I used to be concerned about cults and such.
If found there was little value in focusing
on differences.
Have you ever read the laws in your state? Here in my state the law is in a constant state of change. They add to man's laws and they take away from it. God's law remains consistent and true from the beginning. You can not add to God's law nor can you take anything away from it. Jesus said if you want to be great in the Kingdom of Heaven you have to keep and teach all of the Law of God.
Man's justice is based on the authority that God has given them. "For the one in authority is God's servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God's servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer."
That is my understanding of the quote I gave you from the Bible. Why do you have a different understanding of the message God has for you in that passage of the Bible? If you have a better understanding then share that with us so we can all better understand the Bible and the wisdom God has for us.In your opinion of course...
I think the issue is that a lot of atheists tell us that the God of the Bible is NOT a God of Justice. So the antithesis to that is that God is a God of justice and the testimony as I said are the atheists who testify that God is not a God of Justice. We don't have any demonstrably good evidence that there's any supernatural "justice".
Paul exhorts us to not have fellowship with unbelievers. We have no agreement. Our faith is just a simple path of seeking Gods kingdom. It wont do any of us any good, Christian or unbeliever, to debate anything.

Not so. Many people who have turned from a life of superstition report that they have done so following an examination of arguments based upon reason and logic.
That's not how God works, he resists mans wisdom because its full of pride. God hates our pride. A person must seek by faith, only then does God reveal himself in the heart. It requires keeping the Lords words. At least thats the way i understand it to be. I know you will disagree, which is why i wont bother to debate it.
You have misread me. I said that those who have turned AWAY FROM a view based on faith tell us that it is often because of reasoned arguments they have witnessed.
And "pride"?
Tell me who is the more prideful - the one who answers honestly "I don't know" for many of the mysteries of our world, or the one who confidently cries "I have the Truth!"? The one who is prepared to have his current understanding changed with new evidence, or the one who boasts that his answers are immutable?
We are all proud. I don't have all the answers either, i just know what i need to know for my own life, nothing more or less.
Nothing to explain because IF you could do that then you would have earned eternal life based on your own merit. The problem with your formula is YOU CAN NOT do that on your own without God's help. You must be born again because all have sinned and all fall short of the glory of God. They use to say there will be three surprises in Heaven, the people that are there that you never thought would be there, the people that are not there that you were sure would be and the biggest surprise will be that we are there because none of us deserve God's love, mercy, grace and forgiveness. It is a free gift.If you and I both lead good lives, in which we help and support our neighbour, are as honest as we can, raise our children with care and affection, etc, your world view says that you will nevertheless be transported to paradise upon your death, whereas I will spend an eternity in hell.
Can you please explain how that is 'just'? How I will be condemned for nothing more than what I believe to be real?
