Why does Cracker Barrel start rolling out their stock of holiday items over 3 months before that?

Today, I went to Cracker Barrel for lunch and I already see Christmas trees and Christmas stuff being sold in September.
You all heard about Christmas in July right? Try Christmas in September. I'm sure they rolled it out just around Labor Day, which is the end of summer.

That's not all. In the middle of July, in the maximun height of summer, they start getting their fall and -Helloween-, I mean Halloween , things out for sale. Why is it that Cracker Barrel rolls out stuff for a holiday starting over 3 months ahead of that specific holiday?
I know money is one possible reason. But not even Target rolls out their stock for a specific holiday that early. They rolled out their Halloween stuff around Labor Day.

It puts people in a buying mood. Besides, Cracker Barrel caters to a lot of tourists and travelers. "That cinnamon Santa shaped candle is perfect for Aunt Edna"!

And it seems to be working for them.

Eating more crackers and cheese is good for the economy and keeps angioplasty doctors in business.

Go to Brohner’s in Frankenmuth MI. They have their Christmas stuff year round. It sells as well in January as it does in November or December.
