  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The old adage is true, "Them that has.......gets."

And anyone (not everyone) can avail themselves of wealth as well. Money is always circulating, including the money of the rich. All one has to do is have a good plan, work hard, sacrifice a little, be patient, and wealth will come to you if that's what you desire. Of course unforeseen problems can interfere but usually can be overcome. Good luck. :)

I think everyone has a financial 'comfort level' that they should attain. Some need less, others need more. It is after all a material world that we live in and sometimes those needs are greater than we imagined, especially when we get older. Wealth is a promise to 'faithful stewards' as well. How you deal with wealth and your attitude towards it is important however. Wealth allows freedom from many problems, allows one to be generous, and can provide security and a leg up for one's children.

I have cool video if you want to look at it . Basically the richest are simply printing money.
Yes with hard work you can have good life but this system is designed to have majority of people as slaves and the rest above the slave average so people have motivation to hard work while the richest just print cash for themselfes .

Sounds crazy but it's true . Think of inheritance tax for example , why is your goverment taxing your grandpa wealth to give it to you when it has been alredy taxed when your grandpa earned such wealth...

Or maybe a land tax . Buy land in America , you have to pay taxes for it . It does not really belong to you or you would be paying yourself . You only bought a license to prosper from such square of land from goverment .

Cool video about wealth distribution in USA , USA is one of richest countries on earth so the poorest ones have even worse statistics than this even tho this one is alredy bad .

I've seen this before. Very misleading, incomplete. Needs to be corrected for age, education, job description, actual numbers in the work force (you don't include the kids in income and wealth figures), and for those lower income/wealth folks that are happy with their financial situation. It also conflates wealth and income; not the same thing. A rich man may own a $10Million yacht, but the money is gone.

Yea it's hard to estimate for 300M ppl , the moment you buy something it will lose even half of it's value .

Unless, for example, you buy a good supply of food for a dinner and prepare it and call in the hungry homeless to eat -
then it is greatly increased in value, not just here on earth, but when as God says "storing up treasure in heaven" that lasts and does not get taken by thieves and rust and moths......

Perhaps it can be okay,
but some stone-hearted rich folk might donate $10,000.00 to a food bank or charity to get the prestige or tax deduction, and not caring if the administration only passes on a lot smaller percentage to those in need;
but refuse to give even a glass of water to a truly poor homeless person on the street, ....
so it is always best (as Yahweh (God) permits and accomplishes)
to hear from the Father in His Word and Spirit, and to DO what He says , every day, personally.

As Jesus Says: who is my mother and brother and sister ? Whoever hears the Word of My Father in heaven, and does it - they are My mother and My brother and MY sister.

In my experience most food banks are manned by volunteers and all donations in cash or in food go directly to those in need. However, there are "charities" that advertise widely that have huge administrative costs and high salaries for executive officers. Those are to be avoided.

Lots of rich people aren't as rich as they, or their critics, would have you believe. Trump is a good example. He's worth "$10Billion" when he wants to impress, but a closer look has his wealth closer to $3Billion. Many also cite their assets but forget to subtract their liabilities, which would decrease net worth considerably in many cases.

Proverbs 23:4 Do not weary yourself to gain wealth,
Cease from your [a]consideration of it.
5 When you set your eyes on it, it is gone.
For wealth certainly makes itself wings
Like an eagle that flies toward the heavens.

Donating good food is a better idea. Cash donations are too tempting, and often are spend on less than nutritious food.

Cash donations enable a food bank to purchase product if the food donations do not match the needs of the community

Money is the creation of the rich and powerful. Always has been, and they will protect it at all costs. However they still have to 'sow' it in order 'reap' more. This is their weakness.

The individual can profit by the system by using it's own strategies. For example if you don't buy that new smartphone you increase your wealth, and decrease Apple's wealth, if only by one sale. The rich are wealthy because ordinary people keep buying their stuff.

Food banks would do well to weed out the 'double dippers'; those overnourished people who really don't need any more food. They should do a physical exam to determine if their clients are really suffering from malnutrition. If they can barely squeeze through the door chances are they are not underfed.

I have personally turned in people who were scamming a food bank.

.
Then I am the richest person alive because I haven't bought anything except what I absolutely need.

I have increased my wealth by not having a smart Phone, Cable TV, a Credit Card, or any other of the myriad of things society believes then need in order to be happy.

I left work in 1996, I officially retired in 2007 today I am better off financially than any year I was working.

I buy what I need, I live within a budget, put money in the bank, which I could never do when I was working, I pay ahead on everything I can like Car Insurance, I can now take advantage of things like that which I was never able to do before.

The key to a prosperous life is.

Mat. 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

I do not take thought for tomorrow, when tomorrow comes with whatever evil it may have I take care of it with what God has already Blessed me with.

No man is richer than I, my Father has blessed me.

Mat 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.
Mat 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.
Mat 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.
Mat 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.
Mat 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
Mat 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.
Mat 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Mat 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
Mat 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

I am 73, in perfect health, my wife just gave birth to our 2nd. Daughter in Feb.

Life is good in the Kingdom of God.
