It seems to me that talents, looks, intelligence, personality traits etc are distributed very unfairly and there are some people who seem to get blessed with beauty, intelligence, charm, an outgoing personality, wealth, a stable family, ability at sports, etc. etc. while other people are left plain looking, stupid, socially awkward and shy, depressed, poor, in difficult war torn backgrounds with broken families etc.
I have probably been given a better hand in life than many but I cannot help envying the more popular, better looking, more intelligent, wealthier people, who seem to have acquired all these advantages without any work at all. A lot of them are often arrogant as a result, but it doesn't seem to stop them having all the fun, the success with women, the popularity etc. They are also often guilty of a lot more sin and evil than the rest of us but get away with it untarnished as they retain their looks, their wealth and their intelligence and all the assets which draw popularity and girls towards them.
Even in Christian circles there are always the popular good looking ones who always seem to be the centre of attention, have beautiful friendly girlfriends, and lots of friends, and lots of money. While other people who if you only just get to know them turn out to be a lot nicer than the first group of people, because they don't have all the advantages of the first group, don't seem to do so well socially, academically or in love, and generally (although there are exceptions are less happy). After all most popular, charming, good looking people with lots of talents seem to be a lot happier than the unpopular, shy, less attractive, less intelligent people. It could just be a fault of society and its tendency to judge people on their appearance and outward mannerisms rather than on what is in their heart, but either way I think it is unfair.
