  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

God created us to work. Adam was given the job of caring for the garden in Eden. Because of sin we sometimes misuse our desire to work and fail to take time to relax but a life with no work at all is just as bad as a life in which we devote all our energy to working. We need to work and we also need times of rest and relaxation. It is important to try to keep these two needs in balance.

Hi, I`m thinking about people in general, ether it`s religion preaching, global climate changes and so forth, why do they never just relax, is it a lower intelligence thing to always find something new to do?

I doubt it has anything to do with intelligence. Many of my most intellectually challenged friends have no great cause they find compelling and many of those with a great intellectual capacity are obsessive about their beliefs. I think what you are seeing is a need to find meaning that people feel
is lacking in their lives. So they latch onto something they perceive to be greater than themselves and devote their energies in pursuit of it. It is in the eye of the beholder to determine if this is a good or bad thing.

People aren't truly overworked per se, but because of poor diet and other bad habits most physical functions are in a constant state of exhaustion, so much so that proper rest and sleep is virtually impossible.
