Being in the faith means, as K4C stated, being in the truth that has been given. To go where the Lamb leads... the protestant denominations closed their doors to the three angels message in 1842. They were not willing to follow God into an understanding of the truth that was being given at that time.
Is it true that there are none who understand? If so, does it follow that there are none who are "in the truth" or "in the faith?" Admittedly, I'm having a hard time with this concept.
Do you view non-SDA protestant denominations (i.e. Methodists, Presbyterians, Baptists, etc.) as being "the daughters of the harlot" as described in Revelation?
How does a person go about "making it?"

Can you explain, in detail, how the Word became flesh?
How about the Trinity?
Can you tell where and whats going on in Tartarus?
What do we do with the reality that there are none who understand? Does this mean that there are none who are "in the faith?"
Is there something that might cause them to later be "out of the faith?"

You probably misunderstood me so I'll post it again.
I'm having a difficult time reconciling your view with K4C's. That's no problem -- we don't all see eye to eye on everything.
Why do you connect being "in the faith" to being "in the truth?"

I couldn't agree more. For example, we shouldn't conclude that the covenant that was from Sinai was for everyone for all of time, especially when the Bible confirms that the command was given to get rid of it.We have to be careful how we make blanket applications of verses as though they apply to everyone for all time.
Yes I do...
Following after Abraham who kept Yahweh's charge, His Word, His Commands, Statues and Judgments. Happy is a man who keep His Commandments and in the end will enter or make it into the kingdom prepared for all the righteous.
Talk is cheap action speaks louder than words haven't you heard?
They have become bigots and think as did the Jews that you must be like them in order to get into the kingdom!
But the five foolish were judging and pointing fingers but was not prepared themselves.
The sheep from all religions which includes Hindu and all the rest will have the opportunity to hear and obey the commands of Yahweh that's His voice and not our vain talking.
Finally we need to stop pointing fingers at each other and make sure individually that our name is found in the Book of Life.
Churches can not save you but Yashua can!
Cool! This is quite a contrast from our friend ECR who believes that all non-SDA protestant churches are daughters of the harlot.
My name was written in the Book of Life from the foundation of the world.
