I have been struggling with the fact if the lord almighty is real. I have never felt this way before or since I was baptized at 14.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Welcome to the club. Clearly, God does not make His existence clearly known to us. While I wish it were otherwise, this reality is not enough to undermine my faith.

Ah, our Lord is invisible indeed owning to the loss of our spiritual perception after the Fall of Adam, so we can no longer sense His presence anymore. It can be confusing when we in the physical realm are used to everything especially living creatures to be tangible to us when there is a spiritual realm that is not to evidence it as life's experience does. I had that happen to me several times during my High School years when being feed the atheistic viewpoint, but anyway, it was not until later on that modern prophets pointed out verses that God still can communicate with us through signs and experiences. You, my friend, might be missing one of the twain to give you a taste of God's goodness if you might be lacking in life in the spiritual side of things deeper. (Not that I doubt you are full of faith, but sometimes He might be beckoning you with this trial to take yourself to a higher plane of faith for growth). Pray to Him that He might manifest Himself to you through these means in your life, and He will verify to the "physical mind" that His presence is there. When you go up higher, your body will be empowered with His anointing to regain that spiritual perception little by little so that you will be at one with Him more often. It is a sublime feeling to sense Him in creation perceiving the mysteries of Christ how they attest about Himself in purpose like regrowth of the grass, for example. After that transformation, I never again would nurse that thought again reveling in His spirit daily insomuch that I would chant canticles upon seeing something.

This happened to me, turns out JESUS wanted me to be filled with the holy ghost and has used me to minister since I struggled with that and reach others.
Maybe you have to do as I did and take the next step. Seek the holy spirit, seek God, develop a solid prayer life etc. God maybe wants to use you but like me maybe you're missing something, for me was the holy spirit/ a prayer life. Find out what that is.

I dealt with this spiritiual attack.
A personal experience I had was that I had just recently truly repented after believing on Jesus Christ all my life. I was living in sin and thought I was saved because I simply believed and asked for forgiveness every night with no change in my life. I was filled with the Holy Spirit when I truly repented and was ready and wanting to live for GOD and be free from sin!
Right after this I witnessed many demons being cast out through faith in Jesus Christ and had a life changing experience in the Lord. Shortly after such an amazing personal experience this wave of doubt and unbelief came upon me every time I read the Word of GOD and in prayer and meditation (like a brick wall not allowing me to believe to fullness). This lasted for what felt like a few weeks to a month. I did not stop praying, I quoted scripture against the feelings, thoughts and emotions and basically came to the realization that, no matter what I feel, or what comes against, I know Jesus Christ is Lord and I will not cease to trust in Him.
Shortly after that the waves and attacks stopped, and I continued on in the Lord growing and seeking to be led by the Holy Spirit. We began going out and praying for people at the mall and on the street who needed healing and in Jesus name peoples legs were growing out before their eyes, torn ACL's were being healed, pain disappearing and even metal dissolving in peoples bodies with proof of X-rays to show Jesus took away the screws in their knees. So just hold and, and know that everyone's faith will be tried. The bible mentions
1 Peter 1:7
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
Having your faith but through fire or tested is a sure sign GOD has his hand in your life. So do not fear, and never cease to trust in Jesus Christ. GOD will bring you out soon.
