While going about my day a question I had raised a while back popped back into my head about why God decided after so many millennia to bring His Son into the world to save us? As I was aimlessly listening to some answers I had heard in the past my mind went back to the creation week and there I found my answer.

God created the world and all in it in 6 Days and on the 7th Day God sanctified and blessed it, and rested from all His work which He had made. Moses later commanded us to observe this example of God in the Ten Commandments. And when Christ was going about His ministry He said this:

"And Jesus concluded, 'The Sabbath was made for the good of human beings; they were not made for the Sabbath.'"
Mark 2:27 GNTD

So we see then that the Sabbath was made to be a blessing for mankind and not a curse; at the same time God also created work for our benefit and not our harm, though God did curse Adam and Eve to struggle in order to support themselves for disobeying Him.

Since God gave us 6 Days to do all of our work it's not suprising why God set the time for slaves and hirelings to work at 6 Years and they were to be released in the 7th Year; this same logic also applies to farmers working the land, and the length of time in which debts can build up and be collected until they must be cancelled; and this was also embedded into the Feast of Weeks and the Jubilee. Therefore it's not suprising that God would set 6,000 Years for the work in this world to be done: and in the 7000th Year would we enter into the Sabbath when Christ ushers in His Millennial Kingdom on earth!

When you accept this premise then the rest makes perfect sense for God didn't create Adam until the middle of the 6th Day or 5½ Days later: therefore Christ wouldn't come to die and rise from the dead until 5,500 Years from creation! Outside of this context it is impossible to make heads or tails out of the numbers...for it is clear that just as God created Adam to be the crown of His creation to rule the world: God would send His son to come back to the earth to rule the world.

Galation 4:4 But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, 5 to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.
Answers you, it happen when God wanted it to happen.

Galatians 4:4 (emphasis added mine)

As you can see from the underlined part, God does everything in a measured and set way...God's actions aren't done on a whim or at random.

Yes and it renders all numerology etcuseless as we don't know all the details of Gods plan of salvation, second coming etc.

Set time implies that God planned out when He would send His Son. Chronology is meant to give us the time frame in a given year that biblical events would occur...no one ever claimed you could know the exact day or hour.

If you paid attention to God's example in the creation week then you'd clearly see that God set a limit for everything and, did His work in an orderly fashion...had you understood this then you wouldn't be speaking in ignorance...

Not worth the attention you gave the post. Baby steps. The first concept is the idea that God is one of order and knows the beginning from the end. The second concept is that all things God has given us are a building block for all that is to come next. You are fine, Humble Penny, keep searching His Word, seeking to understand the full dimensions of His handiwork and timing.
