religion is sad, also talking about someone who isn't here to defend herself is sad. No one knows me, so don't comment on my life. Til you been in my shoes don't judge me, and if you never been gay don't act like you know so much. I don't have sexual desire for girls either, I just find them pretty, and would like to have a relationship with them more then me. I have sexual desires for no one, sex is the grossiest thing for me.

btw, Half the people in the world don't know what love is about. Straight people are just guilty as gays for thinking sexual desire is love.

1)If you think Girls are just pretty that doesn't mean you're gay? Unless you actually want to marry one or have sex with one.

2) Duh?

yes, I am, but I can't stand some christians, full of themselves attitudes. I also can't stand the hate alot of the feel for others. Being a christian doesn't give you a right to hate others because they don't follow your beliefs.

I do want to marry a girl, I'm more fond of them, but I don't want to give into details because alot of christians don't know kindess. I just got no sexual desire for anything, doesn't mean I can't fall in love, love isn't about sex.

Just out of curiosity how do you define hate? I have heard that word thrown around alot, especially at Christians who believe that homosexuality is a sin. Is the fact that I hold a doctrine point of view different than the one you may have what defines me as being hateful? (I am not accusing you of stating this but others have)

I appreciate your response, however it doesn't really answer my question. Perhaps I should give an example.

In one thread I made the simple statement that with a great deal of study and prayer I came to the conclusion that homosexuality is considered a sin. That was the only statement I made. I could easily say the same thing about misuse of resources, speeding, or any number of other topics. Yet I was accused of being a bigot and was accused of hating homosexuals. What I want to know is how does having an opinion different from another (especially with this topic) make me a hateful person? I have never jumped to the conclusion that those who disagree with me on this issue hated heterosexuals.

I know that and I tried to make that clear please accept my apologies. I simply wanted to know what you defined as hate. Earlier you posted.

Being a christian doesn't give you a right to hate others because they don't follow your beliefs.
I guess I want an example of what you would consider Christians hating.

I dunno, I don't understand what hate is, I just think when u harm and don't feel guilty about it that is hate. Christian hating is basically calling someone bad names, and calling them evil, and yelling because they don't go with your beliefs. I been called evil and stupid many times by christians.

Well I appreciate your response I truly do. I guess perhaps I should ask another. As I do none of the things you have mentioned here, at least not consciously.

One other question though. Would you consider calling something that you do evil the same as calling you evil? I will give an example. If I make the statement about my friend that stealing is evil, would you take that to be calling him evil?

Then are you are gay and you are purposefully sinning out of God's plan.

I hope you don't like these Christians for the right reasons, rather than to keep your sin going. Lots of people dislike Christians for that reason, it isn't just homosexuals and they are without excuse in God's eyes.

Additionally you mentioned causing hurt. How can I possibly be known to have hurt anyone on this board? On a handful of people on this board have ever met me personally.

Umm, empathy and language?

It's not that difficult.

I would not say that is hateful. I also do not think that you were hateful in saying that you believe homosexuality is wrong.

It crosses the line when the relationship starts to revolve around that--when "love the sinner, hate the sin" becomes "try to tolerate the sinner's presence for the purpose of hating the sin." I definitely know people who cannot say a word to me, except to "condemn my sin." And, no, technically, they don't say "you are evil" but they seem incapable of saying anything other than "do you know how attrocious your sin is? Let me explain it to you, because you clearly don't understand that you'll burn in hell." Or else, mock something else I've said, if there is no easy segue from the current topic to why I'm singlehandedly destroying western civilization.

So, in conclusion:
stating a personal belief that an action is wrong--not hatred
stating that the person is evil--hatred
harping on the sin, while refusing to listen to them or consider their beliefs.--certainly not loving, and starting to push the line into hatred.
