As I said in another post, you don't understand Jacobean English. "Invention" had a very different meaning to the writers of KJV than it does to you. In 17th century English "invention" meant "the fynding out of apte matter" [Thomas Wilson, The Arte of Rhetorique], i.e. looking for explanations. All Ecclesiastes is saying is that men have sought out answers. Which wouId make evolution a discovery

Paul calls evolution a fable and ...

1 Timothy 1:4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

... that minsters question after question after question, rather than edifies God by faith.

And that is so true!

If you can claim that verse is about evolution, what's to stop me from claiming it's about KJVO and ideas like wine meaning non-alcoholic grape juice?

You're reading things into the text that just aren't there.

That has nothing to do with your misunderstanding of "invention".

Dealing with your misinterpretation of 1 Timothy - evolution is not genealogy.

Strike 2.

I'll also point you to 1 Timothy 1:7 "Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm." Since you don't understand Jacobean English, might this apply to you?

These standards?

1. Bible says x, Science says x = go with x = dual agreement
2. Bible says x, Science says y = go with x = science can take a hike
3. Bible says x, Science says ø = go with x = Biblical support
4. Bible says ø, Science says x = go with x = Scientific support
5. Bible says ø, Science says ø = free to speculate on your own

Why don’t we still see creatures that are still in the process of this transformation from ape to man. Why are there no half ape half man creatures? Why did this process of evolution or mutation cease?

Not just genealogy -- endless genealogies.

And having more holes (missing links) than Clyde Barrow.

I think Apes are a creation of God and have glory just like any life.

That being said, I think that Apes are animals, beasts made for human.

What could humans possibly do with them though besides put them in a zoo or something?

Science says sounds like a scientific equivalent to Simon Says and I think the rules pretty much play the same way too since if you're an atheist you can't believe anything that science doesn't say.

Try asking people if, from 1930-2005, Pluto was our ninth planet, and see if you get everything from a lecture on astronomy, to a lecture on how little you know about astronomy.

Anything but an answer.

If I would have come on here in 2000, saying that Pluto wasn't a planet, I would have been ridiculed.

Today if I say Pluto is a planet, I get ridiculed.

Science changes with the next discovery, yes; but science has no authority over saying there was no global flood until all discoveries are in.

And even then science would be wrong, because the Bible says there was.

Actually,.. funnily enough now science is saying that there was a flood. Or at least according to this video. It seems like science (unlike God) changes with a drop of a hat.

Yeah, and the funny thing is, is it's all pretty much based on imagination.

There's no scientific objection to local floods as described in the video. The objection is to a literally global flood as described in the bible; there is no evidence for this and no physical mechanism for it.

Where does the Bible say that Adam and Eve spoke English?

No,.. sorry but I don't think that he was. A scientist couldn't very well explain how he was just literally created out of dirt.

Science is really all about categorizing things. The Creator gave him this task when He instructed Adam to name the animals.
