The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

Sorry you are struggling, sweetie.
You're alive because God created you and loves you - and He does have a plan.
Praying that things get easier very soon![]()
Hello,

Hello,
I'm sorry you're feeling so bad. You are important to God and to us. He created you for a reason and I think part of it might be to help others. Stay as close to God as you can and He will help you. Post also in here for support and we will help too. God bless you.
Faithfully,
CH Sacerdote

Try to think of struggles as a way to build yourself up instead of their purpose being to bring you down.
What can you learn from these struggles? What does God want you to learn? When you overcome these struggles won't you be a stronger person because of them?
God is great. He's also full of love for His children. We can sometimes get embarrassed for being needy or as you said 'whining too much' but most of us do that at one time or another and I believe His compassion for us and wanting us to come closer in relationship to Him out weigh all of that. We can come to Him just as we are. No problem. He understands.Thank you very much, you're right I need to stay close to God. Is there such thing as whining too much to God? I'm very weak and I have the urge to cry all the time
