Whose Side Are You On? The Sabbath Truth

Servant of the Lord said:

We are in the last days. The signs confirming that we are living in Earth's final chapter are everywhere: moral decline, war, violence, and natural disasters, are all part of the daily news. We MUST ready our souls for the coming storm. This Great Controversy between God and Satan is a battle very much having to do with two things: Obedience, and Worship.

God wants you to Love and Worship Him, and Him alone. Satan, our mortal adversary, is working tirelessly to try and have us deceived and steal that glory for himself. So how do we ready ourselves for the coming of our Lord??

My friends, we ready ourselves by putting on Jesus and His Righteousness. Arm yourselves with Him!

"And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away from your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive."
Jeremiah 29:13,14

We are to search for Him with ALL of our hearts. Be strong in the Word of God! Jesus and his teachings is to be the foundation of your very soul. Do not follow vain traditions for the sake of tradition!! Be diligent and constant in your studies and in your prayer!! Do not procrastinate on the issues of your soul.

Why is the Sabbath so important? Because Prophecy tells us many will be deceived by men and the lies of the devil through the Roman Catholic Church. I must be frank here: Catholicism does not stand for God's truth. Am I calling out Catholics? No, many Catholics are not even aware of God's truth and are simply following the masses. Don't let this be you!! Do not let anyone stand between you and the Lord!! Again I say, Be diligent and constant in your studies and in your prayer!!

Let's look over some of God's truths concerning the Sabbath . . .

So far, questionable commentary is all I read...I will read on look for facts.

Servant of the Lord said:

"Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6

So since Jesus is the truth, let's accept him as such, and take his example: "So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read" (Luke 4:16).

And what day is the Sabbath?

"The seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD your God." (Exodus 20:10)

But weren't these laws "nailed to the cross"? Surely the New Covenant retracts these commandments?? ......ABSOLUTELY NOT!!

"And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tittle of the law to fail" (Luke 16:17)

"My covenant I will not break, nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips" (Psalm 89:34)
Nowhere in scripture does God give ANYONE authority to change ANY of His laws!!

"You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you" (Deuteronomy 4:2)


But what happens? It is foretold in prophecy in Daniel that the Roman Catholic Church, during the persecution of Christians from 538 - 1798, would indeed try to change His laws:

"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time." Daniel 7:25

Do you not know that the devil hates the Sabbath?? Why? Because it is proof of the sovereignty of the one and only true God. The devil wants to be like God.

"I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High." Isaiah 14:14.

So what did Satan do in his hatred of the Sabbath? He created a counterfeit Sabbath, Sunday observance. By worshiping on Sunday, you are actually acknowledging Satan's authority as your master!

"Her priests have violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy... and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them." "Therefore I have poured out My indignation on them" (Ezekiel 22:26, 28).

Broad is the road that leads to destruction. Sin is lawlessness and if you refute God's 4th commandment you are guilty of all. We must NOT put down the Laws of God for the traditions of man. His laws are Irrefutable and will stand for eternity. Those who worship God on Sunday, do so in vain! We MUST worship God in the way HE will have us worship. God will honor those who honor Him. The true Sabbath is the seventh day, and acts as a symbol between God and His church.
Will you stand for God and be Obedient to Him and Worship Him on His day?? Or will you choose to stay in Babylon and follow the devil and traditions of man? Jesus loves us all with incomprehensible love and will have us all know and accept the truth. Nothing else matters!!

"Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." Revelation 14:12

"And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd." John 10:16

Sir, all these comments are intented to malign the word of God, they are made inspite of what the scrptures are actually saying. The fact that Jesus was born a Jew under the law is the reason why He followed all the rituals of Judaism.
If God required that all men become circumcized, your points may be reasonable. The fact that Peter and Paul were first to minister to Gentiles is a reason to recognize that God did not call Gentiles through the Old Covenant.

In the last days it will boil down to two types of people, those who worship God.

Revelation 14:7 The second angle saying with a loud voice, "Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.''

And those who worship the beast.

Revelation 14:9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, "he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God,

Obviously, one type of people will follow commentary that abuses the word of God. Then they'll we'll claim to keep His commandments as if they've worked to earned salvation.

It seems to me that you've been taught that since we struggle with keeping the commandments perfectly we must throw them out. This is a teaching of the devil. Keeping the commandments does not mean pefection, it means keeping them because we love God and when we do fall we 1 John 1:9.

It also seems that you've been taught that obedience means works salvation. This too is also from the devil. If you obey God for any other reason other then love for God than it's a works salvation. When you love God it will be hard not to obey Him, this is true salvation.

Keep studying, God will lead you into all truth.

Study proves that the book of 1John is never talking about the ten commandments, but rather, what is called the two commandments that are written on the hearts.
As this book begins, it explains to us about the being witness of all that Jesus taught.
Sabbatarians use every opportunity to take words out of context that appear to support the ten commandments.
The shameless truth is how this this book is bent on teaching us about love of God and to love our neighbors.
Commentary can be shameless. Faith is base on hearing the truth and applying it to understanding, not making up you own truth with the word of God.


11This is the message you heard from the beginning: We should love one another.
12 Do not be like Cain, who belonged to the evil one and murdered his brother. And why did he murder him? Because his own actions were evil and his brother's were righteous.
13 Do not be surprised, my brothers, if the world hates you.

First of all, I was talking about the book of 1John, not the whole bible. 1John is only teaching the two commandments rather the than the ten commandments that you and others isolate certain text to mean.

Secondly, the word of God is the truth, the problem is added commentary. Studying cant solve your problem, you have too much material. It's bad enough to imply Sabbath institution, but now you're implying ceromonial laws given at creation too.

Yes, do not be like Cain! Cain chose to worship God in his own way, and deliberately neglected the commands given to him regarding sacrifice. Abel knew what God required of him, and delighted in obeying the Lord. Although Cain knew blood of a firstborn was required (and the fat thereof) for the remission of sin, but he chose to disobey and offer God what HE wanted to offer. He was of the wicked one because the wicked one will have us worship in our own selfish ways. Obedience is only obedience if we follow God's will, not our own.

That's commentary gone wild. You've said more than the bible about Cain and Abel offerings.
Gen 4:2And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.
Gen 4:3 And in process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD.
Gen 4:4 And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering:
Gen 4:5 But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. And Cain was very wroth, and his countenance fell.

The scriptures goes from their births to their occupation.
What Moses calls an offering is an offering is an offering, it is not a sacrifice or he made a big mistake.
Hello??? Moses is the only one to write and teach about offerings and sacrifices that God required of The Chidren of Israel.
The fact that Cain was a tiller of the ground is why it appears that he brought fruit of the ground. Only commentary say that Cain was suppose to bring a blood sacrifice.
What we can apply to understanding is; Cain did not bring the firstfruits nor the fat thereof(choicest friut or prvisions) and Abel did.
The fact that God favored one over the other does not imply that Cain was commanded to bring a blood sacrifice.
The fact that Cain brought an offering does not imply that Cain's offering was a sinful disobedience by not bringing the right sacrifice.
The fact that God stated to Cain, "Why have your countenance fallen, if you did you best would'nt your gift have been excepted?" The refutes the notion that God required anything but Cain's best efforts.

The dialog in the scriptures does not support any commentary about the law and the ceromonial commandments you want me to read into God's word. Sorry, I cant do it.


With all that said....1John is trying to simply teach us that Abel had love in his heart and Cain had evil in his heart, therefore We should love each other.
You keep finding a law to obey no matter what the scriptures is saying.

1Jo 3:11 For this is the message that ye heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
1Jo 3:12 Not as Cain, [who] was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

Jesus died for us in order to release us from the bondage of sin. He did not die in order for us to be free to sin, that is simply preposterous, a lie formulated by the devil.

The Law and the Prophets are attached to the two.

Matthew 22:40 The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments."

You can't love God without the Law and the prophets because the Law and the prophets teach us how to love God through righteous living.

If Jesus is your Lord then the Sabbath day is a day you should remember because Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. "Lord of the Sabbath" are very powerful words that confirm the Sabbath, not do away with it.

You always have a lot to say contrary to the scriptures you post. The facts taught about Jesus being Lord of the Sabbath is: The Son of man being Lord of the Sabbath, makes Him greater(Mat 12:6) than Abither the priest and therefore, He is blameless from profaning the Sabbath.(Mat 12:5)

You fail to discern this text; Mat 12:7But if ye had known what [this] meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless.

God is not interested in you sabbathkeeping ceromonies, but rather how you treat others. If you knew what that meant, you would not be trying to accuse people who sincerely worship God, of failing to keep ceromonies.
This will fly over your head.

I have to give you credit, you are trying so hard to do away with something that God has not done away with.

How do you get doing away with the Sabbath out of, "I desire mercy and not sacrifice". The issue was human needs over ritualistically keeping the Sabbath. Remember, the Sabbath was made for man and not man for the Sabbath. If you're hungry or in need medical care it's not a violation of the Sabbath. Jesus even pointed them to the Old Testament to show them how this was an Old Testament prinicle as well. This is why Jesus said, "If you would have known" which is pointing them back to the Old Testament. And remember, in the Old Testament, if you violated the Sabbath you were put to death unless what you were doing was a necessary human need.

Do more studying and less resisting and God will bless you.
