What’s it say for the party that doesn’t even bother to nominate one?It doesn’t say much for some Democrats that they won’t vote for a black female
Hmm, what was that verse? We should not conform ourselves to the world, so as Christians, we are the minorities. So, that is why I want a Democrat or any other politician who is pro-life (and allows for emergency scenarios), humble, protects the environment and lowers the cost of living for the majority of the population. People would like the Democrats more, if they took a moment, dropped the woke stuff, and worked in a bipartisan matter. In other words, Democrats (and Republicans) need to go back to the 1970s again.Because they are a majority party and pro-life is a minority position.
Neither do I.I don’t remember a black female running for president as a Republican.
I know of a lot of people who wanted Condi Rice for President. One small problem - she didn't want the job.I don’t remember a black female running for the nomination in a Republican primary.
Those days are gone. Both parties have moved from the middle closer to the far sides.Hmm, what was that verse? We should not conform ourselves to the world, so as Christians, we are the minorities. Romans 12:2 (NKJV): "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
She was the first person that came to mindI know of a lot of people who wanted Condi Rice for President. One small problem - she didn't want the job.
I recall her goal was being NFL commissioner
So who is the sinister force behind this detestable ideology? Do dead left-wing radicals really have the power to cloud men's minds?I haven't said anything to disagree with that. "Working class men and women of all races, creeds and colors " are not an identity group. And the DNC has definitely set them aside.
Critical Theory is a bigger thing than you realize. It's the driving ideology of identity politics.
Actually it was if you don’t vote for me then you ain’t black. Oops, that was a Democrat, that doesn’t countWell, I did say they masked their efforts better.
Even aside from the “racist streak” - all the appeals to religion and family values; all the comments about “real americans” or “coastal elites” were appeals to specific identities. They’re just (usually) not quite as obvious as “vote for me because you’re black”.
It's mostly taught in colleges. Critical Theory is an "ivory tower" version of Marxism first developed by the Frankfurt School whose proponents eventually moved from Germany to the UK to the US. Critical Theory is the principles of Marxism lifted from economics to be applied in other fields. At this time, it's the basis of Critical Race Theory, Critical Gender Theory, and Radical Feminism. You don't have to believe me on any of this...it's not a secret and it's not a theory...those scholars in all those fields say so themselves in their seminal documents. So who is the sinister force behind this detestable ideology? Do dead left-wing radicals really have the power to cloud men's minds?
That is true. Maybe, this increase in division could be a sign that the Great Tribulation is near. Already, we see division in other countries, and persecution. Praise Jesus, come quickly. Those days are gone. Both parties have moved from the middle closer to the far sides.
Christians are *NOT* the minority in the US.Hmm, what was that verse? We should not conform ourselves to the world, so as Christians, we are the minorities.
Have you paid attention to partisan interaction in Congress lately? So, that is why I want a Democrat or any other politician who is pro-life (and allows for emergency scenarios), humble, protects the environment and lowers the cost of living for the majority of the population. I am unfamiliar with this verse. I started to read "Romans" but by the end of chapter 1, I was so disgusted I stopped.Romans 12:2 (NKJV): "And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God."
It depends on which Catholic translation you trust.Christians are *NOT* the minority in the US.

If you'd use a Catholic bible, you'd see it was "conformed to this age". anyway.
In congress, both parties have been fighting lately. And yes, Christians are not the minority, but in the Democrats, Christians are the minority. And yes, Romans is a hard read, but if one wants to start with a book in the Bible, John, Matthew, Luke and Mark talk about forgiveness and the beatitudes.Christians are *NOT* the minority in the US.

The NRSV-CE says world also but has a footnote indicating that the Greek is age.In congress, both parties have been fighting lately. I use a Catholic bible also, the NRSV-CE.As most folks here are Protestant, I use the Protestant Bibles a lot such as the NIV, NKJV and ESV.
I love the NRSV-CE. Good Bible. There is a Protestant version as well, known as the NRSV.The NRSV-CE says world also but has a footnote indicating that the Greek is age.
They recently came out with an updated edition, it’s been highly rated except for some changes they made regarding homosexuality.I love the NRSV-CE. Good Bible. There is a Protestant version as well, known as the NRSV.

Romans 12:2
New Catholic Bible
2 Do not be conformed to the world, but be transformed by the renewal of your minds, so that you will be able to discern the will of God and to know what is good and acceptable and perfect.
New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition
2 Do not be conformed to this world,[a] but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.[b]
(a) Romans 12:2 Gk age
I think the NRSV-CE is the standard Catholic Bible for the last 30 years
Which one? The NRSV-CE, which is based upon the RSV-CE? Yeah, changes regarding doctrine should not be made to the Bible. They recently came out with an updated edition, it’s been highly rated except for some changes they made regarding homosexuality.
So, which one is better? Is the NRSV-CE better than the NAB?No, the standard Catholic bible is the "New American Bible" for the last 50 years. The NRSV-CE which includes the books missing from the standard edition, is "OK" for private study, but not for the Mass.
