It is generally believed that Samuel was the first prophet.

Acts 3. 24 And all the prophets who have spoken, from Samuel and those who came after him, also proclaimed these days.

Acts 13. 20 All this took about 450 years. And after that he gave them judges until Samuel the prophet.

When someone asked me who the first prophet was I said Enoch which I based on this passage.
Jude 1:14 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: "See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones

They told me it was Abel based on this passage.
Luk 11:50 Therefore this generation will be held responsible for the blood of all the prophets that has been shed since the beginning of the world,
Luk 11:51 from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who was killed between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, this generation will be held responsible for it all
