I heard, Prodigy was the first internet provider.......
Then I heard, it was AOL.........
I myself don't know.

I heard Prodigy as well. But I could be wrong.

The Internet began as a U.S. military experiment called ARPAnet over 20 years ago.

But it sounds like the first publicly avalible provider was Prodigy.

The first interconnected network (internet) was invented in the late 1960s.

The Arpanet was more of the first non-government network, and a lot of old geeks used to access it.

Both Prodigy and AOL (known as Q-Link then) started out in 1985.

Oh, but the world wide web, as we know the internet as now, wasn't out until the early 1990s.
