Well, you already know, it is too big to keep secret, so the media just produces endless distractions and decoys, of things you'd rather think about, and you never really reach a clear conclusion.

This is actually the problem, running after details.

And therefore the main basis of your life never changes, the rich get richer, the national economy goes further in debt, we start more wars and we make more enemies.

And we just keep doing things that don't help us or really anyone else, but are what some power hungry money grabbing nasties want us to do. Doesn't really make them any happier either.

The media has the greatest influence over the common man. Probably outdoing that held by churches.
As for laws, it seems to be the golden rule- he has the gold makes the rules.

More people need to learn how the gov is supposed to work, and get more involved with the local leadership.

Do what is right and let the consequences follow.

The President they claim (MSM?) now has excessive powers.

Who runs the MSM? Same people as run the government, and for some time have told the population what to believe, oh, and write the history books.

Who are they?

Lets start with the Presidents. Obama and Trump both came in with great ideas and good plans for progress.

There are 12,000 lobbyists pretty much running both houses of Congress.

If the President is going to get anything done he has agree with Congress, that is, with the lobbyists.

So look at those 12,000 lobbyists and you know who runs the country.

GW Bush got infamous for starting two ill-conceived wars. Hillary Clinton, a liberal, totally opposed to the neocons running the country from 2000 to 2008, also started two ill-conceived wars.

Pouring government funds into the military-industrial complex is the biggest factor determining what the government does.

The public is not mainly in favor of handing trillions over to Haliburton etc. but the government always takes war as the first course of action, even when there isn't actually a problem, well there soon will be one.

When the public wants one thing and the government does another, how can the US claim to be a democracy?
