So basically it is a RPG simulation where you move to this farm which you inherited from your grandfather, and you build up your farm, interact with the Stardew towns people, explore, carry out missions, you can go mining for minerals and resources. Its a really chilled out game
I think the 3DS version eventually got to the point where there wasn’t much to do everyday. The switch version has more stuff to do, I think. There are more options for island customization and if you get the DLC, you can even change your villager’s houses. I’m way too lazy to customize my island (it looks terrible right now) and I haven’t been playing as much as I used to.I own the 3ds version. Unfortunately I stopped playing quite shortly after I started, I just didn't manage to stay commited. Part of the reason why I didn't buy the switch version (yet?!?).
Like so many other nintendo games a very positive and likable game!!!

I really need to clear my house of cockroaches. They scare away all the villagers when they come over to my house. (Except for Ozzie, he thought they were cool.) I hate killing the cockroaches though! Why can’t I just put them in my pocket like every other bug?I have all the AC versions other than the GameCube one and every single one of my towns is unfinished and probably chock full of weeds and cockroaches.
