I'm using AIM 5.2.3292 and DeadAim 3.2.1 and it works fine....you can get older versions of DeadAim at www.oldversion.com that are still the free version....mrgrandyman said:Not saying this is the best setup...
...but I use AIM version 5.2.3292 with the DeadAIM version 4.1 plugin from jdennis.net.
BTW, if you are looking for a plugin like DeadAIM be aware that AIM+ (big-o-software.com) and MyIM do the same thing as DeadIM and are both free compared to DeadAIM which is $4.99.
I should note, however that AIM+ is not fully compatible with AIM version 5.x and MyIM is not quite as feature rich as DeadIM (doesn't include log viewer that DeadAIM does).
At some point in time I will probably start to use Trillian (ceruleanstudios.com) so that I can message people who use services other than AIM (MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, etc.).

Just disable the popup stuff. Then you never have to worry about it again. MSN has been really good to medoofus125 said:To many flaws and problems with MSN for me......I have windows XP and I uninstalled it because it was so annoying with all the pop up stuff....
It Logs Im's, Clones Aim (multiple instances of Aim open at once), you can supress the popups & Aim today window, and the stock ticker stuff, You can make the AIM windows transparent, and you can "tab" your IM window so that all your im's are in 1 window and you just click on the tab of the person......You can install DeadAim and uninstall it without any problems if you want to check it out.FR0G said:What does DeadAIM do?![]()
