Which do you prefer?

Do you prefer to go on family vacations or to drop the kids off at Grandma's and spend some time with just your husband?

i go on holidays with my children and both my parents! I love spending holidays with the people who i love so dearly. We have a great time.

Oh most definitely love to spend time with the kids, but spouses need time to spend alone too! Date night is a good thing!!!

If I chose, I'd spend vacation with the kids and then go on an overnight somewhere with the hubby once in awhile - dinner out is nice too!

meant to add that the husband is ex so going away with him is not an option, thankfully. Hence the previous response.

Some of both. The long vacations are the ones that the kids come along on. If DH and I want a getaway it's just an overnight thing.

I prefer to do the family vacation. We have date nights so that we can get away at least once or twice a month........

I would prefer family vacation too. Hubby and I already get date nights. My MIL is great about taking our son for a day on the weekends.
