Where's Fair?

Wheres Fair?Ive seen pics of those African citizens sitting on the ground with flies al around them.The guy has never had a decent meal and is suseptible to many diseases.My point is ,I live in a very nice neighberhood and I don't see how it's fair that he lives in Africa and I live in this great country.So I wanted to hear peoples opinions about life after death.My father is a strong believer that what you do in on life will decide how your next life is.He also believes that this will occur untill you have learned all of lifes lessons.So anywho , I just wanted to hear your opinion on this topic!

There is no "fair" in the sense that you're looking for there. Life is just a lottery in that regard. As for the past life theory, a poor attempt at justifying others lot in life.

People need to believe in a level playing field of some form or another, hence God... the universal equalizer. But wishful thinking does not reveal anything about actualities.

Sure it is, a supreme arbitrator who dishes out punishment is an equalizer. However this is just a belief of people who need reassurance, they don't like the idea of an impersonal, indifferent universe.

If he is dishing out punishment why would he be doing that because they didnt do anything to deserve it therfore proving the afterlife theory!

I'm not sure where you're pulling this from. But I don't think God is punishing anyone (infact if you not the icon beside my nationality, you'll see that I don't even believe in God), a persons position in life is essentially random. And No, none of that proves anything about the afterlife theory.

It's a default position, and since there is a lack of evidence I have no reason to move from that position and believe.

Well a lack of evidence doesnt mean that it isnt true.Maybe u should think who created us,and why?I have doubts in my life too but I think that God does this on purpose so when we get out of our phase of doubtfulness our faith is stronger.I will pray for u and I hope u will find the truth in urself and God bless!

Well maybe u should think about who created us and why?Maybe that will sway ur opinion.Afterall just because there is a lack of evidence ddoesnt make it false. I already have, long and hard. I read the bible from cover to cover, I've started reading the quran and the tipitaka (which parts I can find here and there) and various other religious texts. All it has done is show me the fallaciousness of theism (tipitaka does an excellent job of it too).
