  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

Hi there!

I think it would be fun if people posted the lattitude and longitude of significant places in their lives and then told a little bit about why its significant - e.g. it could be where they work, where they go on holidays, their church, but probably not their home though.

Interested people could then download googleearth from Google Earth - Home, enter the co-ordinates and see what they were referring to. A broadband connection will assist greatly.

For example, I work at 33°51'47.51"S 151°12'29.24"E
Every lunchtime I like to go for a walk around the harbor and in the ajoining gardens, so that I can keep a little bit of fitness, since I work in an office. To fly there, select the "fly to" tab and copy the above co-ordinates into the box.

The best way to get the lat and long of your location is to add a placemark to the spot, left click on the pin, tick advanced, select the location tab and copy the lat and long from that window.

Maybe this will only appeal to geography buffs, but lets give it a try and see.

Looking forward to seeing a favorite place of yours!:D
