Clearly you do not know what it means. Why do you people always judge others for the very thing you are guilty of? Why do you tell on yourselves like that? Perhaps because God only gives you the ability to judge your own heart.
The Bible is filled to overflowing with promises. You do what the Bible says to do and you will get the results the Bible says you will get.
You do not have any argument because you have tested nothing. We know what we believe to be true because we have tested what we believe. This is not an argument for not believing.
How can the Bible be empty when it is backed up by God himself.
You do not have any argument because you have tested nothing. We know what we believe to be true because we have tested what we believe.
They have me on a strict plant based diet. So the testable results is reduced heart disease, less medication and less surgery. My BP went from 160/90 down to 115/76. My sugar went from 129 down to 85.Examples?
If I don't eat pork, what testable and predictable result will I get?

The Bible is referred to as the old and new covenant. A covenant is a legal binding agreement. If you do your part then you can be sure that God will do His part.
The premise of my argument is that the mother doesn't care about here own soul - or at least not as much as she cares about the soul of her children.
And this is the problem with your premise if your trying to argue against Christianity. A person who does not care about their own soul can never become a Christian because the very reason Jesus died on the Cross was to save our souls, so if she doesn't care about her soul then she has no interest in what Jesus did and therefore can never accept what He did. She can only accept it if she actually cares about her own soul. If you can't see how your premise is faulty from the get go, especially if your trying to argue against Christianity, then you're just being unreasonable and or ignoring what I believe in order to establish your argument.
I find it helpful to understand what other's believe in order to more effectively show them why I believe they are wrong or right. Unfortunately, for you to hold this argument as sound you must continue ignoring what I believe, which I find intellectually dishonest.

What is better for a child to be born into a Christian family or a non Christian?
Ow, for crying out loud!!
The point being made is not an argument against christianity!!!
Rather, it is a response that logically follows from the statement that dead babies go straight to heaven.
Consider the analogy of earthly life....
A mother will happily jump in front of a truck to certain death if by doing so she can save her children.
How hard is it to comprehend this trail of thought??
Quite hard, it seems...
Perhaps you should turn that around and try to understand MY trail of thought here.
The point being made is consistently ignored.
Statement of several people in this thread: dead babies go straight to heaven
Logical consequence: killing babies makes sure those souls go straight to heaven
Logical conclusion: if you want to make sure that your children go straight to heaven, the most certain way to accomplish that is killing them while they are babies.
Premise: the mother cares more about the souls of her children, then her own. Just like a mother cares more about her children's well-being, then her own.
My question: what argument would you use to persuade this woman not to kill her children?
Nobody here seems capable of giving me a reasonable response to this.
Quit dodging the issue. Have you personally tested the Bible or not?More random responses and nothing that actually addresses the question being put forward.
kkk Christian?Catholic or orthodox or KKK or Baptist christian?
Your the one that thinks this way and nothing we say seems to make any difference in the way you think. People need to be born again and take on the mind of Christ and the divine thoughts of God. So is that what your asking? Is that what you want to learn? How to take on the Mind of Christ? That is a whole book all in itself. How can we teach you all of that here in this media?Ow, for crying out loud!!

kkk Christian?
I test my Bible every day in many ways. It's to bad that you cannot get the truth work for you. For me that is not the case at all. For example people here raised questions about babies that return to heaven and I ran across a wonderful teaching that helped me to better understand. Of course you did not pray and ask for God to give you understanding. Some people even mock God which insures they well fall even more into confussion and deception. Yet for those who have an honest heart and want to know the truth it is abundantly available to them. We go From glory to glory. Those who are perishing go from darkness to greater darkness. How has it been tested?
I've noticed here that people don't seem to like being told that little children, who haven't reached the age of accountability yet, go to Heaven.I test my Bible every day in many ways. They do not seem to want children to enter into this world. I think the reason is they are made in the image of God and Satan hates God. Although it is difficult to understand why anyone or anything can hate what is good, pure and clean without filth, corruption or defilement. Perhaps people do not want to be reminded of their own state and how far they have fallen from where they began.I've noticed here that people don't seem to like being told that little children, who haven't reached the age of accountability yet, got to Heaven.
