Why do you hate Mary?

Why do you hate me and accuse me of worshipping Mary?

Hi and I did not say I hated MARY , did I ?

So , where did OT Saints go when they died ?

In John 11:11-15 , we see from the Context of Jesus earthly ministry and also of MARY , that all OT SAINTS died and were buried .

This means that when MARY died , she also was buried , don;t you see ?

The Thief on the cross when to be with Jesus in Paradise , will you see ?

Here is a good explanation:

Where did Old Testament believers go when they died?
Question: "Where did Old Testament believers go when they died?"

Answer: The Old Testament teaches life after death, and that all people went to a place of conscious existence called Sheol. The wicked were there (Psalm 9:17; 31:17; 49:14; Isaiah 5:14), and so were the righteous (Genesis 37:35; Job 14:13; Psalm 6:5;16:10; 88:3; Isaiah 38:10).

The New Testament equivalent of Sheol is Hades. Prior to Christ’s resurrection, Luke 16:19-31 shows Hades to be divided into two realms: a place of comfort where Lazarus was (heaven) and a place of torment where the rich man was (hell). Lazarus’s place of comfort is elsewhere called Paradise (Luke 23:43). The rich man’s place of torment is called Gehenna in Mark 9:45. Between Paradise and Gehenna (the two districts of Hades) there was “a great gulf fixed” (Luke 16:26).

Jesus is described as having descended into Hades after His death (Acts 2:27, 31; cf. Ephesians 4:9). At the resurrection of Jesus Christ, it seems that the believers in Hades (i.e., the occupants of Paradise) were moved to another location. Now, Paradise is above rather than below (2 Corinthians 12:2-4).

Today, when a believer dies, he is “present with the Lord” (2 Corinthians 5:6-9). When an unbeliever dies, he follows the Old Testament unbelievers to the torment side of Hades. At the final judgment, Hades will be emptied before the Great White Throne, where its occupants will be judged prior to entering the lake of fire (Revelation 20:13-15).

This means to me that those in the OT did not go to heaven and that means all the Apostles amd the Worshiped MARY !

So , just where are the 12 apostles and MARY ??

DAN P

Perhaps you should insert the word "immediately" prior to the word "heaven" and it would answer your question "So , just where are the 12 apostles and MARY ??"

The apostles and Mary died after Christ's resurrection, so they would be in Heaven even if what you're saying about OT saints is true. I myself am not quite sure about that. Job said "I know that my redeemer lives, and at the end He will stand upon the Earth." Abraham and God were also pretty close? I'm inclined to think that the OT saints did go to Heaven. Also, the sacrifices performed in the Jewish temple atoned for sins, so it seems to me that Moses would be in Heaven too.

By the way, Dan, you said that "those in the OT" did not go to Heaven. I assumed you meant "the OT saints." Is that correct?

Grace, if the NT saints are in heaven why does Paul tell believers to "wait with them until Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels? 2thess 1:7

Paul also tells us that king David has NOT ascended into heaven
(Christ had already gone to the father and David was still not in heaven
Act 2:34

Until Christ comes to get his bride which Paul (and David) wait for....

2 Thessalonians 1:7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.

This might lend some insight --

Matthew 27:52-53
The graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Psalm 16:10
For thou will not leave my soul in Sheol; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

Since Jesus' death covered our judgment once, for all -- then there is the possibility that the action of crucifixion/resurrection triggered a change for the deceased faithful.

But then there are some later verses that could imply a delay.
