Since the Tribulation hasn't started yet and since "The Day of the Lord" - or WWIII - is near the end of Tribulation, "The Day of the Lord" is nowhere near happening.
In fact, NOTHING is near happening until the antichrist makes his appearance.
The ENTIRE book of Revelation is about the time of Jacob's trouble. The last 3 and 1/2 years of the seventieth week of Daniel, to be precise.
Satan is a master of disguise and Bible students miserably fail at identifying fingerprints. Close is not good enough. History MUST match all points revealed in Scriptures to know if it is of God.
Many a book on prophecy have been written and not worth the ink and time it takes to produce them.
Only a head's up, ie, the 3.5 already began at 70 A.D. where we were all born toward the end of the "Tribulation, the great one", ie, a spiritual battle where the "effects" are seen and experienced in the physical.
Satan was bound in the abyss at the Cross, and the Antichrist has been doing his work for centuries.

Then take a look in the mirror perhaps.
This is simply not true. How long did Jacob have to work EXTRA for the woman he loved? The answer is, seven years. This is how long Jacob's trouble will be: 7 years or the 70th week of Daniel. The 70th week begins with the 7th seal, and ends with the 7th vial, so it DOES cover much of Revelation. The last half of the week goes from the 7th trumpet to the 7th vial.
You said that right about the many books on Revelation. Most were written with human understanding alone.

I did NOT say the book of Revelation was ALL there is to the time of Jacob's trouble. Did I?

There is a quote of what you wrote. Do you stand by this?
The truth is, there are some chapters in the book before we get to the start of the Week, and some chapters after the week has finished. Maybe you did not really write what you meant to write. We all do that at times.

Rev 1 says its vision is about things at hand, quick, soon, about to happen

You actually are correct. The Time of Jacob's Trouble is the last half of the tribulation.
Both Daniel's 70th Week and a Time of Jacob's Trouble are about the Israel in the tribulation. one is for the entire week, the other is about the great tribulation. Two prophecies about two time-frame.

Great. and both are consecutive with no break.
Jacob's Trouble (Jer.30:7) began witht he fall of the Babylonian monarchy - judgment on the nations, and deliverance of the true spiritual Israel (Joel2:1, 2).
