old school Battletech
Axis & Allies
3.5 D&D
(more recent games from the 2010's that I really liked)
7 Wonders Duel (excellent 2 player)
War of the Roses (great 4 player, really needs 4)
Lords of Waterdeep (2+, better w 4 or so)
Mystic Vale (2+ neat game, great art there are no 'mess with the other player' cards which is kind of relaxing )
Terraforming Mars (2+ or solo)
I have an old FlatTop (WW2 Carrier game) but its very complex and pieces so small my vision can't read the chits well. Used Game Parts & Custom Printed Prototypes - Print & Play to build my own prototypes, I like them.

I like Minecraft. It's available for PC, XBox and other platforms. I can just free-form build stuff. It can be like digital adult legos But it can also be a challenge. And there are many ways to modify the game if you get bored with the basic one. I don't like violent games. Minecraft can be played without trying to kill everything. But if you like enemies to defend against, it has that too.

Thanks but I was thinking more along the lines of the games played on the other elder thread. For me it is card games.
I have a lot of old games, nintendo, vectrex, intellivision, sega, the old one and several others. I even have the mini arcades, pac man, donkey kong, ms pacman, xxxon. Spelling on some of these. games of old in my back room If I make I am going to get them all together and sale them.

Check out Dominion some time, it's been awhile since I played, but we enjoyed it for a good couple of years <i>Dominion</i> (card game)

I know how to play it and I have googled it and either it isn't free or it is the two deck play. There is no challenge to the two deck. The one deck is hard.
I lost mine when my computer quit. It was from 123 solitaire but they are charging for it now.
So there are plenty available but not the one deck and not free.
Thanks anyway I might have to pay for it if I don't get my puter running.
