Here is a encouring prayer written by my friend Marie about the 7th Station of the Cross: Jesus falls the second time. I'm sure you will find her words to be a blessing.
Oh Jesus, forgive me when I misunderstand your will,
forgive me when like Peter before your Passion who thought you would
reign in Jerusalem, and I am said that You are going to live something
I can't even imagine, sufferings I can't even realize, I close my heart.
And As I walk there, on the calvary, you fall for the second time.
and in this fall you offer your salvation to all the hearts in our world
where success and strength are the rules, you offer your arms to all the ones who
like me, don't understand, stay behind, are what one would say a "looser",
you offer your compassion to all those who sit and can't move because
they already fell once, and twice now is enough.
Jesus, as I see you in those sufferings, as I realize my own weakness,
my own failure, I can see as you stand up again your invitation to stand
also again, because I understand that if you fell it was for me, you took my condition
you took the same place as I am today and your eyes tell me that something can occur
from this calvary, your eyes tell me "come", follow me, and only Your Grace, Your Love
can give me the grace to stand up again, not by myself, but through your Mercy.
Jesus, as I am, in the truth I am, I thank you and greet Your fall for me now,
and as a gift to you , offer you all my darkness, all my failures, all my sins,
all my diseases, and thank you for walking with You, in Your steps, through your grace and mercy.
Jesus, thank you for visiting my Heart and chasing all that I try to hide and all that I try to
change by myself.
Jesus thank you, as I see my misery, I see your Love and Mercy, and surrender ...
...just for today.
"I have only today to live by love".
