Scripture: "Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit the earth."
Matthew 5:5
What would happen if the youth ran the world?If suddenly we found that we had inherited the entire world instead of adults? What would happen if kids ruled the world? What would change if those who had the humble and meek spirit of the children ruled the world? Would things be different than they are now? In the 40's JFK was the youngest president of the United States, but even his relative youth was a long way from being a child.
What would happen if youth ran the country, made the laws,and set the policeis of our country? In some cases pizza would be the offical food. video games would replace school, and the FBI would be replace by the Heroes of Dragon Ball Z. The army would be headed by Spiderman. the other superheroes would man the national defence.
Jesus taught his disciples that meekness is the kind of attitude or spirit that each person should have. He said people who have this attitude will " inherit the earth." That means they will one day rule the world.
When the Meek rock the House, many of us will be leading the nation and the world.
Many adults worry about us! They seee what's going on all aroung us. They think everthing will go bad when our turn comes. Because we have been brought up in the fear of God the world doesn'thave to worry about what we will do. We won't replace the evening news with Def Comedy Jam. When we rule the world balanced diets won't become Big Macs and fries. We would not fight unnecessary battles, but will stand still and see the salvation of the Lord.
