Look to God.
When he frightens
And confuses you,
And your emotions
Bruises you,
And tries to get
The best of you,
Let Jesus Christ
Give peace to you.
Since the Lord is always near you,
Trust His Word.
Let His Word dwell
In you richly as
You lean upon
His promises,
And don’t forget
His faithfulness,
His Word to you is
Holiness.
When the world around you leaves you,
Rest in God.
When they hate you
And forsake you,
And they even
Try to bait you
Into doing
What’s distasteful,
To your Lord
Then be ye grateful.
