When hard times come,
And the waves crash in,
And all’s unsettled
By the circumstance,
Then, trust your Lord
And His faithfulness.
For, He gives vict’ry
Over sin’s darkness.
So, have no fear,
Then, of what may come.
For, God is sovereign
Over all kingdoms.
He freely gives
What no man can take
From you. Trust His love,
And rest in His grace.
He loves you so,
And wants you to know
That His comfort for
You will overflow.

Amen to this one. Reminds me of Job 38.

In the heart of the tempest, the sea roared and seethed, Behind doors of darkness, where chaos was weaved. Yet, the Lord, with wisdom, its limits did place, Quelling the fury, in the depths of space.
Oh, furious squall, in the night so deep, Awoke the Teacher, stirred from His sleep. With mighty word, He calmed the dreadful sea, "Why fear, dear disciples? Where is your faith, do you see?"
Two men, each a house built, on rock and on sand, Storms and streams and the wind, tested their stand. The wise man's foundation, withstood life's might, But the foolish man faltered, in the dark of the night.
Affliction and wandering, bitter taste on the tongue, Yet, the Lord's great love, forever is sung. His compassions, a balm, new every morning, His faithfulness, a beacon, ceaselessly adorning.
From all harm, He will keep, your life He'll protect, Your comings and goings, His watchful gaze reflect. I say to my soul, the Lord is my share, In His presence, I will wait, I declare.
So, let the storms rage, let the waves pound and proclaim, For the Lord of the heavens has spoken, tamed their wild name. With hearts full of hope, and faith firm and true, We rest in His promise, as storms pass anew.
Job 38:1; 8-11 (NIV): "Then the Lord spoke to Job out of the storm. He said: “Who shut up the sea behind doors when it burst forth from the womb, when I made the clouds its garment and wrapped it in thick darkness, when I fixed limits for it and set its doors and bars in place, when I said, ‘This far you may come and no farther; here is where your proud waves halt’”?"
