When God Seems Unfair

Every one else seems to be getting boy / girl friends before you do, and you say I’ve been waiting over looked many times.

Is that how you feel? Ah well I have at times to.
God seems unfair, but in reality He has a greater blessing for us than many others who have never or barely even lifted the heads to pray for a spouse / friend and have recieved instantly.​

But then I read John 5:7-9. This man had been ill for many years and every one else was being healed before him, it is true that his life wasn’t right with God and its important to make sure that we are living a righteous life, but the thing is when God steps into the situation there is a BLESSING FAR ABOVE WHAT YOU COULD IMAGINE!.

If that’s what you want, then allow Jesus be the one to REVEAL His plans to You and His ways. His choice and His time. DONT DEPEND upon other people to meet your need, people failed that man because no one carried Him to the pool. No, RELY on Jesus, with ALL strength as one hanging onto a roof with a tiny cord and a strong person at the other end to get you to where you so want to be.

The pain of seeming to be passed by is very painful, and only for those who have been in that situation for many years 10 + can really enter into this. Year after that man saw others getting blest and healed, and he remained seemingly forgotten and forsaken. The God of Israel had seemingly forsaken him. But for those who wait and suffer in Gods will for righteousness will be blest.

This man received a double blessing, he had his HEARTS DESIRES Met and he was SAVED from his sin. Jesus wants to give us more than a spouse or a special friend, He wants to give us the UTTER joy of knowing Him as intimately as your future marriage partner.

Rather than being unfair, he may just be sparing you from nerve-wracking heartache.

I'll take single over heartache and relationship stress any day.

Of course, I have the luxury of not having to worry about any of that, but I also have some hindsight that I have just shared.
