The bible speaks of a number of ends, and each end with a new begining. The reason people are becoming more interrested in prophecy, is because they are seeing it fulfilled. And so people want to know what is coming next, in regards to prophecy.

Well for one that would make the earth about 6,000 years old... that alone is a big flag that that we are at the point of the millennial reign..

Yes, this is an allusion to the Feast of Trumpets which would fall on a New Moon... a very important piece, seeing that He returns with the 7th trumpet which would be on the Feast of Trumpets.

There are seven New Moon's (or Rosh Chodesh's) in between Passover and Feast of Trumpets there fore 7 instances of trumpets being blown... the illusion is the 7 trumpets in Revelation and His return on the 7th.

As far as are we already in the millenial.. well I think we're right on the point of crossing over... I think He will return very soon, I think many people will ignore it or won't notice, just as the first time... but rest assured if Your heart is in a good place with the Lord, and you walk in Spirit and Truth you will know.

Seriously, why bother with this stuff when Christ says we will never know. I see these threads a lot, maybe fun but bringing no one closer to any real truths.

I predicted 2008 around eight years ago based on prophesy in the scriptures and hebrew years (instead of our roman calendar). I don't remember though why and what verse I based this on.

I think soon, but how soon I haven't a clue.

I first heard of M. J. Agee years ago in her book Exit 2007.
She claimed Jesus would come on May 28(?) 1998, Pentecost.
He didn't. She keeps claiming pentecost each year, and sometimes other dates, but i gave up on her a while back.
Just be ready every day, its better that way.

I both agree and disagree with you. Here's why. Let me ask you.... how LONG do you think the end times will last? 2 years? 3? 5? 2000? 3000?

The point is that Peter proclaims in Acts that the end times are ALREADY HERE. This proclaimation is made many times in the bible.... We DO indeed live in the end times.... we have lived in the end times for over 2000 years

Yes, but even Jesus told us what signs to look for - that there will be an "END" to that "end times".
We're to know when it is near/at the door.

Jesus was upset becuz His people didn't recognize the hour of His visitation - when it was spelled right out for them in the OT, and they were given all the signs of what He would do as Messiah (miracles, etc). & they still didn't see it.

Revelation is also the only book that comes with a warning & curse not to tamper with it specifically - yet people claim it's one of the most 'symbolic' non literal books that exists. I beg to differ with that.

Anyways, God WILL return, and while we are in the 'last days' now (since Christ came) He will come at some point and He's given us signs to watch for to know when that time is near.
It boils down to, some people misinterpreted signs before, but it shouldn't cause us to shun prophecy like some do.

Why would He return on Pentecost? Shavout has already been fulfilled when the Holy Spirit fell.

He is going to return on the Feast of Trumpets, as a fulfillment of Yom T'ruah... and the beginning of the unfulfilled Fall Feasts.

I agree with this as you study the feast you find out that it is the only one that has top be declared and the only one that more than one day is set aside for therefore no man knoweth the day or the hour.
