Please provide the book, chapter, and verse in the RSV OT where you found the word "Jesus".

I'm using the RSV. That's probably my error. It's not a "Bible".

So you are saying the writer of Hebrews was wrong to say the Last Days were already underway during Christ's earthly Ministry?

Do I understand your position correctly?

There are PLENTY of "last days". The issue for the Book of Daniel is when is the "time of the end" that DANIEL speaks of:

Daniel 12:4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”

As Scripture specifies, when we have expedient travel (70 mph by automobile or 500 by airline), and access to instant knowledge (computers, with internet & youtube repair videos), then WE'RE IN THE LAST DAYS.

And of course neither of these existed until the era approximate to the Nation of Israel.

But Today's Israel has ZERO relationship to the pre desolation Israel of Scripture.
Not Politically, Not Religiously and Not genetically.

Todays Israel is a MULTI-ETHNIC Secular Democratic Nation state.
Modern Judaism is a POST CHRISTIAN, MAN MADE religion.
Modern Jews are ALL either Gentile converts to that POST CHRISTIAN MAN MADE religion, or descendants of Gentile converts. Not even ONE can trace his or her ancestry to a single pre desolation Hebrew person. Not even ONE.

Nor do They Follow the Law of Moses, which equates to automatic dismissal from the covenant..

You have nothing but assumption and speculation to tie it exclusively to modern civilization of the past 70 years.

Working backward from your previously held bias to make the scriptures fit isn't proper exegesis.

I believe you've confused the apples for oranges. My point was simply that the Prophecies in the Book of Daniel are as the angel instructs:

Daniel 12:4 But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, until the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.”
9 He said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.

So when history arrives to 70+ mph automobiles and 500+ mph airlines, and instant computer information, then you've probably arrived at the "time of the end". Otherwise, GET OFF THE COMPUTER, and WALK TO WORK.

"Jesus" does not appear in the KJV OT.

"Jesus" does not appear in the RSV OT either.

What version are you using? Did you write your own? Remember, you said that they were all a mess.

Jesus quoted the Book of Daniel as prophetic. So we're living under the prophetic promises of Daniel. Did you think Jesus mis-spoke?

Absolutely true. The OT is all about Him.

That is why He said:

Luke 24
25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:
26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

We're living under the prophetic fulfillments in Christ, who fulfilled the prophetic promises of Daniel, as He declared above.

Christ did not, does not, will not, and cannot, misspeak.
