It does get quite interesting when you study the genetic differences between humans, in relation to their position on the planet. Nature is mindblowing in its intricacy when you really dig deep.

It's mostly irrelevant now, but 100,000 years ago, these genetic variations were key to the survival of a given population.

Same here, brother, same here. Watched them on the Olympics. Noah Lyles was pretty fast at the 100 m sprint.

Race does not matter, but if you guys want to know, I was born in Bulgaria in Southeastern Europe and adopted at a young age, so my race would be Romani. The Romani originated from the Punjab region of India, which is why I am brown in the summer and light brown in the winter. Other than that, I know nothing about the Romani race. But hey, I am just a Christian human living on Earth.

This site will tell you ethnicity by simply analyzing your face.

Although my result seems incredibly inaccurate, people do mistake me for a late 20's Arab or Jew although I don't think we have a single relative from Turkey nor Ukraine/Eastern Europe.

Good find! The site also gave result of Inca and Maya or the descendants of the ancient race and also Inuit in some parts of Canada using my other pictures. But I doubt we have any ancestors from the American continent.

In reality, the site is having trouble guessing my race in most of my pictures. Most of the time, the biggest probability of match is less than 30%. It has to be above 50% in order to be said the result is reliable. Ironically, people have actually mistaken me for many of the races the site have matched me with. Other common results with my other pictures are races in and around the country of India such India, parts of Madagascar, Eastern Africa. I'm not South Asian we don't have any ancestors from the region I'm aware of.

You should try this:

It guesses your ethnicity based on your pictures. IMO it's accurate based entirely on your appearance (NOT your actual genetic makeup).

I'm predominantly Irish white. There's supposedly some Sioux in there but I have no evidence of that. Maybe I'll do one of those genetic tests someday to see if that's just an old family wives tale.

I tried that and scored 28-37% on all the different types. So I guess I'm not that easy to nail down.

It did put my age at 37 (the picture was taken about a year ago) , which I don't mind given that I'm 45.

That's nice! It's fairly accurate with my age though. I gave it my pictures in my mid and late thirties and it's accurate to two years (giving a younger estimate).
