Newbie no more!
So basically he tells the one type to be a bit more like the other and vice verse. I think it all goes back to balance. Our GOD is very balanced. He is the most loving parent and in that love He is perfectly good. He is both extremely tender but also extremely holy. He has great compassion on our weaknesses, but also desires to make us come up higher in holiness. He is not 'permissive' but He is not 'cruel' either.
