LOL. It's really bad. It isn't the worst or first time I've heard someone try another accent. A good South African friend of mine once tried to mimic my accent.

Class? Like, English class? Not talking about school. Englishmen always seem to come off as classy or sophisticated. 'Zat what you're talking about?

Struth! Being a bush Aussie I speak with MOST Aussie expressions Amanda. Liken me to a female Crocodile Dundee. Were very easy going people here. Some of them are up the creek in the town though. But...it's summer...it get's hot and I guess some go a bit troppo.
Class?......Liken it in Aussie accent to saying Mars. You know...the planet? If I sat the mule called asssss they'll put little asterisks there. Well, instead of saying the asssss......say.....ars.

ROFL!!!! Hey Amanda! We're making an Aussie out of you! Yes, you can be an exchange student in Australia. My daughter had a Jap exchange student. I don't think it costs anything really. I think, if I remember rightly, the Government pays. I'll have a look into it, but, we don't want to take you away from home!!!!
The exchange student stays for a year I think. Then goes back home.

Hey gang!

The only Aussie I hear regularly around here is on those loony ads for Outback Steakhouse. They've got a hilarious one for Mother's Day specials that cracks me up every time I hear it on the radio. I always wonder if those are "real" Aussies or just plain old Yanks yukking it up and pulling the wool over everybody's eyeballs. Oh, and when I get around to watching tv every 10 months or so, I have to catch some Crocodile Hunter! That guy is a gas. (except when he's dangling his kid over some croc mouth, that is)
