Whats Your Favorite Passage?

Tell me what your favorite passage in the bible is and why you think that it is good passage.

Proverbs 16:9 -

"In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps."

I like this passage because it for one is very true. You might not think that god has anything to do ith what u do in life or how u get there. But really he knew exactly what u were going to do in life before you were born and he knew which way you were going to acheive what you want to do!!!

It reminds me of my development towards my current worldview.

It's a reason for this one's current beliefs of God.

This is a great verse.

Joshua 24:19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.

This one is great as well, because it totally contradicts everything else in the whole book.

It's Matthew 5:48, in the Beautitudes. And it is possible to be "perfect" through Christ
3For you died [its speaking of your old life is gone], and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. 4When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory. (Colossians 3:3 brackets added).
8But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
