Book of Eli.. One word, epic.

I know right? The bit where he says, "Both thorns and thistles have been brought forth for us, from the dust we were taken and to the dust we will return" I had goosebumps down my back when he said that, it was amazing.

and all those little signs throughout the movie that God was protecting him, like during the shoot out in town when all the bullets were missing him. When the big guy with the goggles shot at him, missed and then looked at his gun like something was wrong with it.

:flat4:

A film I really want to see now is, "Fireproof" and "Jesus freaks"

YouTube - Official JESUS FREAKS TRAILER (NEW!!!)

I loved the song from the trailer so much I purchased the album :')

I like a lot of movies but I guess I could say that my favorite is Beauty and the Beast. I don't care if it's a Disney cartoon, it demonstrates unconditional love and I think that's awesome. Belle is my favorite princess ;). I also like the randomness of The Emperor's New Groove, I laugh every time I see it :D. But don't think all I watch is cartoons, 'cause that's far from the truth!!! Iron Man is awesome . I love romantic comedies from the '90s and early '00s, like Sleepless in Seattle, You've Got Mail, One Fine Day, and Kate & Leopold.
AGHHHHH I'm naming lots of movies here . Basically, I don't have a favorite movie. It depends on my mood. :D

Hitch is probably my all time favorite movie. I think the Will Smith and Kevin James combination was a fantastic decision. Great characters, great plot, and the romantic element was awesome.

Ice Age (the first one only) has always been kind of a comfort movie as well. I don't know if that term is foreign to anyone, but it's one of those movies that just always sets me right when I'm troubled. It teems with loyalty and redemption.

The Phantom of the Opera is also a phenomenal movie. The music and singing in that movie is beyond words. The sadness of it lends a lot to the beauty of it as well.

And of course The Lord of the Rings and Star Wars series go without saying.

Inception was pretty cool.. especially when they were floating in mid-air, in the van, and their arms were flailing every which way :D

The Hallway fight was beyond amazing. they actually made a roating Set that was huge to make that scene. Also, Joseph gordon-levitt (Arthur) did all of his stunts except for one. That was actually him stepping from wall to wall.

Inception was good, but I didn't like the underlying principles. Same thing happened with Avatar. I cried simply by being fed extreme left-wing principles. My favorite movie right now is "A-team." The best comedy from an old tv show that was just as awesome. Now if they made a Macguyver movie...

To Save A Life is definitely a good movie. It really makes you think. I watched it on the way to a christian conference, and I could not stop thinking about what might have happened if I had been like the main character.

3 things

1: Yes, Avatar was bad

2: The A-Team was amazing

3: what "underlying" principles of Inception didnt you like? i just saw a stroy of a man desperatley trying to take back his life and was willing to go to the extreme just to see his children? what principles u talkin' bout? can you be more specific?

Well, its a very postmodernistic movie. Postmodernism believes in relative truths. The whole movie's point was to question your surroundings. Are you real? Is this all make believe? Yes, you can warp your surroundings. Yes, deconstruction is okay. There are no absolute truths!

Whats wrong about questioning your surroundings now and again? I doubt we would've had the american revolution if people didnt question the circumstances.

Plz explain what you find worng about those ideas (just curious)
