And an update about the canned rhubarb pie.
It lasted 3 days.
The 1st day, as I posted, ok but not spectacular
The 2nd Day it was much better
And the 3rd day it was as good as frozen
Don't know why the pie has to "age" to bring it to full flavor
I am just very happy I can use the canned and everyone likes it fine.

Not really. I eat too many sugary baked goods to consider myself a healthy eater. I have a terrible weakness for scones and lemon muffins and apple fritters and almond cookies. It doesn’t help that I am perpetually skinny and burning hundreds of calories pushing my scooter around university, so I get no consequences for my bad behavior.You must be healthy with what you eat. Agreed, but the recipe my mom used for pork was onions instead of canned green beans. The spicy texture of the onions goes better with the pork.Perfect combination for pork chops.

Smart an final had a really good buy on a tub of them the smart and final here is not honest so I'm not buying from them again. Honey is another wonderful gift from God

Use the frosting on the slices like buttering toast rather than traditional top frosting
So today I am making a Butter Cake and Chocolate Frosting.
In fact I am doubling the recipe and making 2 cakes.

The butter cake recipe I have was originally for strawberry short cake. denser than other cakes but not quite as heavy as pound cake.

I had them in France back in 2015! Very niceI had something I've never had before tonight. Mussels, they tasted okay but i thought they would be rubbery but they weren't so i think I'm over my feat of them. Along with lobster tail. Tomorrow I'm frying shrimp, yummy!

Meanwhile, the weather is warming up and I plan to buy a bucket of ice cream and some coca cola for coke floats!
