I really appreciate them; I was an outdoor/nature photographer (amateur) before I got sick.
Then my camera died (manual minolta) and I am just not able to hike as I used to, to warrant the expense of going digital with nice zoom lenses.
Soooo, I capture what I can with my 'heart' (the contemplative spirit in me ) and with my pocket digital.
Yes, the Lord is glorious and very Present in all His creations; I feel closest to Him in nature!
I did a line of notecards for gift shops ('Heavenly Creations') back when I was active.
Thanks for the offer, I will browse your albums

Today is Monday ... it rained overnight last night
It started falling after dark and came down so heavily
that it was pooling upon the ground faster than the baked soil could absorb it

I am, somewhat disappointed, that I couldnt have painted on
the wood treatment to gate and side door
BEFORE it had been wetted by atmospheric conditions
for, now, I will be sealing-in some moisture
instead of, sealing it all out

I woke up this-morning feeling the effects of my labours of yesterday
groggy, achey, sore fingers, from splinters and a black blister [pinch]
in my left palm... that now, feels just a little numb, unless
I put some pressure on it
Oh please...dont get me wrong... I am NOT complaining
I do not regret having 'laboured' in the hot afternoon sun
the accomplishments of my efforts
sure do make that, a worthwhile sacrifice/ undertaking

I am convinced, that... barring 'vandalism' that side-door will outlast me
