Rain failed to make a 'show' today
and the cloud parted for 3-4 minutes of lovely sunshine [this afternoon]
proving, that the sun always shines, despite the clouds

That was today sleeping in the sun lakeside on a rug with a t-shirt on. I wanted to go out sailing but couldnt. Dont worry in a couple of months time it will be cold here and I will envy the northern hemisphere countries.

We seem to be out of rain for a little bit, good thing too because it allows those who have flooded here a chance to dry out. Clear through the weekend, anyway. The sump pump is quiet.

Right now, 47F. Highs the next few days in the 60s and 70s, tonight's low of 38F is as cold as it gets through the weekend.
