  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

48F and sunny today, our warmest day so far all spring.
Back down to mid and upper 30's coming back again though.
Went for a grueling hike yesterday in the woods, as much of the snow is still up to my knees, and I am 6'2".

It's 48F here in Central Oklahoma at 30 minutes after midnight. The winds are down to 3 mph. I don't know what our current situation is here right now on wild fires, but winds over 40 mph were a big problem. Thank you Lord.

I'm glad you've had some rain Tom; I think you said that you needed it, didn't you?

Snow here too although, unlike Dave's pictures, it hasn't settled on the pavement or road, but it has on the plants and walls etc! Looks pretty but it is cold. A nice freshness about it, but it's definitely the weather for extra clothing. (I think that the Jet Stream, which you guys in America are so good as to send us, has decided to pop down to southern Europe, which has pulled in weather from the colder regions! )

We got less than a tenth of an inch, but we have several more chances over the next couple of days - maybe even some tonight. We really need a good rain of 2 or more inches to start with.
