The rules are simple:
Complete and identify the verse started in the preceding post.
Then, in that same post, partially quote a verse of your choosing.
Here's an example:
Post #1 reads, "In the beginning..."
Post #2 reads, "...you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands." - Ps. 102:25
"...loved the world..."
As you may have realized, there are several verses that begin with "In the beginning." Part of the fun is seeing if the next poster will identify the same verse you had in mind!
Also, the quote doesn't have to be the beginning of the verse, but can be a few words from anywhere within it.
I also think subtle differences in translations are also going to add to the fun!
To make it fitting in this forum, I'll offer 100 blessings for every tenth post, starting with post #10!!!!
