Mums got two an industrial (which hasnt been used) and a singer (which we use, its foot operated) and also an overlocker.

I have asked her if I could have the singer passed down to me..its an antique now and nobody else in my family would use it. So I prolly wont need to buy a new one. The new ones are all made of plastic now anyway.

Plastic isn't a bad choice but usually lower end machines aren't well made, and a bad deal.
Some of my machinery is made of plastic, and if it's high quality it can be superior to metal.

Bought a Chromecast so I can play stuff on a spare LCD TV from my phone in my front room for company. Might need new laptop since my old one isn't working too well. Ordered a daily devotional in Traditional Chinese for a friend, will probably order another one in either English or Simplified Chinese for another one (bilingual for her would be best if I can find it), and finally another Simplified one for an acquaintance provided I actually meet him in person....

Hmm. Buy several gallons of urethane resin to make back stock for my work. Haven't even tried buying stuff for my ultimate lacquer ventilation and dry system thingy yet either.

And a joy CD as well. Im all set for hymns and spiritual songs. I think need more of them because colossians says let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, singing hymns psalms and spiritual songs.

Um.
Think you posted in wrong thread there, my friend.

Ive taken a lot of things to the op shop recently. That are still good but I dont know who to give them to, and someone can buy them for really cheap and that money can go toward minsitry.

I took two dresses, pair of shoes, a jigsaw puzzle. If I have books I give them to the book exhange or church library depending on what they are. Or other people who I know would appreciate it.

So often on shopping trips am giving things away as well. Everything has a use, I dont buy things just to have them.

I don't know what to buy.
Need something to make my business easier.
That's another CNC machine, a drill press, a lacquer spraying area, a dust sucker thingy for when I sand. Ugh need to know if I'm moving this spring, summer, or winter then I can know.
Two part urethane resin dispenser that automatically puts out part A and B using a scale for specific amounts.
Realistically i'm going to ship 20kg of metal powder from China to my house with Fedex I think. Need to produce a ton of product. Then resin dispenser. Maybe it's only $100. I can't pour from jugs since the moisture ruins them quickly, measuring resin takes forever, and I want to ramp up production quickly.

I once went to the islands (tahiti) and their biggest export was black pearls.
Also vanilla, coconut and associated products they could easily grow there.

I don't know about Hawaii I would assume things like Pineapple, hula skirts, surfboards...

All those items are mysterious to me sundewgrower. What are you making? Is it for hydroponics? Or something else?
No it's for making my artwork that automated machinery puts out. Then also to cast things out of resin which I use metal powder for since it gives the finish a metal finish in the end. I am trying to step up production, but it's not easy without either time, money, or more of one or the either. So I'm going to buy stuff to make it easier, but knowing what is the question.

We don't export anything really. Maybe coffee. But it's all tourism really and that's about it.
Hula skirts aren't worn or seen really. Surfboards made off island, and so forth.

A friend of mine went on vacation in Hawaii. He came back with a grass skirt and a coconut bra. He was really attractive wearing them while sitting on top of his tractor, while also wearing jeans and brogans. lol

You won't see it here. I'm not sure where the idea of it came from other than some external stereotype or source.

I think that "stereotype" comes from Hollywood. When whites first encountered Polynesians, the Polynesians were virtually naked. Especially the women. In order to show the encounters on film, they had to "invent" clothing that would be allowed passed the censors. Thus, the coconut bra, for example.

My "shopping" list today included paying for a skating lesson for my daughter, paying for her ice show dress, and getting her skates sharpened. Last night, she went out and bought fruit for the house. This weekend will probably include a trip to the grocery store but that will be too long to list here because it includes a week worth of food for 3. I also bought a college textbook and two online access sites that are mandatory for those classes...classes started this week for both my kids. I'm basically broke for the moment.
