  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Please pray for my mom. She's been dealing with gallstones issues and tonight they've flared up really bad. Her eyes have even jaundiced a bit.

She went to the ER a few weeks ago and have X-rays that showed the issue. Instead of doing emergency surgery, they decided to send her to a specialist, who told her she didn't have gallstones :/ So it's been a back and forth fight.

Jokes are only wrong when there is malice behind them.

It's like when someone says something and I jokingly say "Ahhhh shut up." Generally Im just kidding and there is no malice involved.

Shoot, I'd totally meet you. 77 year old ladies with cats are awesome. But honestly, 77 isn't that old. For some reason, I feel lately like nothing is all that old. 112? Not that old.

I just deal with family asking questions in the most uncomfortable manner possible and they stop.

Or I pose the question and make it their responsability.

Such as my sister asking me non stop when I would meet a nice "girl" and give her a niece.

In which I responded..(Before I was Christian)... "You wanna pay for the child? Cause I can go meet a woman right now." She replied "No" I said "Then shut your mouth. "
