  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I didnt think of it while it was going on...... they were so busy chopping them up and chopping them down.... it makes sense that they would be.... it was like an ancient Chinese art..... everybody knew their part.

I know everyone hates Taylor Swift, but I myself wish her nothing but joy and happiness and hope she finds her soulmate VERY soon.

(After all...... if she would find the one man that wouldn't leave her and be happy....... she would have no more songs to sing. )

Thats why you make sure your worth more alive to her than dead. She will make sure her hands are clean and she doesn't poison you.

Worth more dead....... maybe not the next day......... but eventually....... she wakes up and wonders why she is laying next to a smelly hairy man and not laying on a hammock on a beach somewhere with a margarita or bloody mary and you dont have much longer.

Ahh I couldn't help myself, I got more books. lol

ALSO! They had these brochures (sp?) about "Top 100 Novels" and "Best International Novels/Books" and so on. So I left with about 5 different lists of books.

Exactly, when I say my wife will do the kitchen work its NOT 1950s way of thinking chauvinism....... its just my cooking is so bad...... she will prefer it that way.

Ill do the cooking, but shed only allow it once..... after that she wouldn't let my place be in the kitchen...... shed tell me to go fix the car instead.
