  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I ate at a Mexican restaurant near Piccadilly while in London, it was pretty good. It was so crowded that they had a time limit on how long you could stay there. They gave us enough time to order, get our food, and eat it before we were asked to pay our bill and leave. ha ha ha.

Well we don't sell fish and chips in Chinese, that's just wrong on so many levels lol

And we had tacos the other night


Our fish n chips is called a fish super. And English Chinese is weird like they put peas in their curry and their fried rice isn't even fried correctly. It's strange.

We eat haggis, come on!!!

Oh and fried pizza is great for a hungover.

And mince and tatties or sausage stovies.

Or haggis in whiskey sauce with neeps and tatties

We also seem to like Italian stuff here...

Oh aye and homemade soup is a big thing here, it's the only thing my stepdad makes.

Oohhh and square sausages and tattie scones are like to DIE for. It's what I missed the most when living in England and the rolls. A roll and tattie scone with bacon with sauce... bliss

Tonight I had stir fry. The boys had a pizza

There was also a Mexican restaurant down the street from my hotel in London, but the average dish was like £16 so it wasn't even tempting to try. There was also one in Leipzig and we all seriously considered trying it to see how bad it was, but none of us ever did.

Unfortunately, the real "gamer" in my house is my mother. I bought her a combo machine to replace the original NES 16/32 bit consoles. We still have the N64 and Wii, plus PS3.

Wow, the last game I saw my parents play was on Christmas day when I got my NES for Christmas.

I had a friend stay the night........ at 5pm they said "bed time" my friend and I were talking all sorts of trash about having a 5pm bed time...... ON CHRISTMAS the day I get my system.

Then we hear screaming and all.... we peak around the corner, there is my parents and his parents playing Super Mario Brothers, jumping in their chairs and throwing their hands up while holding the controllers like that makes the game do anything.....

Oddly, now controllers DO respond to motion and I haven't seen any old people utilize it.
