Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. I think it's been a gradual process or maybe just ones that were more recent. Because I had more reps than that and i noticed some old stuff that I had repped years ago says i liked it.Maybe they somehow converted old reps into likes? Or something?

Which is kinda weird because I didn't always "like" every post i repped. I and others used it as an alternate private message thing.
I miss reps. I prefer sending reps over sending posts... But the liking thing is alright too.
Various things. Municipal, county, and state. And while some elections had sensible results, this has shown me that many people are completely ignorant about politics. I genuinely think the election was rigged. How very convenient that a stupid truck driver who spent no money on his campaign and we had no idea of what he looked like just BARELY wins the nomination for gubernatorial candidate! Now it means that our incumbent virtually has no competition at all!Seems like it has been. Meh!
If I may ask, what was the election for? County or someone for your whole state? That would indeed be stupid.

Why does it have too be a thesis? Cant you find something that is near enough to your mark but your showing your own ideas thats how things are discoveredThanks.
I feel like if I can just find a thesis that I can actually support, then it will all be easy from there. The problem is that all my ideas so far have been just about impossible to prove. Yikes. I guess I have about 13 hours left, but, of course, I have to sleep for some of them.
You can only use data from your state....This teacher is really weird...
He has been talking about thesis statements and independent variables for two weeks. He is VERY picky about having a perfect thesis statement and everything in the presentation being relevant to the thesis.
Problem is, I had a thesis statement ironed out and everything, but I can't find 12 slides worth of data that clearly supports my thesis.
The hardest thing is that this is a TEXAS government class and we have to use TEXAS data.... which is actually kinda hard to come by. I've found US data, but that "isn't relevant" because there are so many "other variables."
I'm trying to think of a new topic/thesis that will work, but I'm getting nowhere. It's so hard to get the data I need. And it doesn't help that I grew up in another state and really don't know how to treat Texas issues.

Is their something wrong with him?Yeahhhh. I can use national data if it really really ties in. But I sat there and watched him edit a friend's presentation and he complained about every single place where she used national data, in many cases saying to replace it with Texas statistics.
Ok.... try finding Texas statistics on teen mental health. Texas median SAT and ACT scores. Median scores for Texas (only) achievement tests. Statistics on the percent of teens IN TEXAS who have smartphones. Ugh. All my ideas are getting flushed down the toilet.
