I know what you are trying to say, Wayholka, but in a way, our best really isn't good enough. Not even the best of us. ... That's why God comes the rest of the way for us through Jesus in the first place.

Well now, I do see quite a bit of genuine Christian love for one another going on here the last page or two. Not saying it is the only time I have ever seen it, mind you, just that I want to point out that it is uplifting.

Did quite a bit of yard work today. A pleasant atmosphere for the past two hours, with the sunny weather, random SK-approved music on my outside radio, and Tallulah just sort of lying around nearby in the yard, always looking around and sniffing at the air.

But man, pollen sucks. I could actually see the water turning a sickly yellow from the pollen as it was washing off of me in the shower later.

I'm glad there's Christian love going around and people are allowed to vent. Maybe it's my turn to tell my side of the story. Of course there are two sides to everything, but often, even in Christian circles, you don't get the benefit of the doubt once someone has made an accusation against you.

I haven't found this subforum welcoming. I posted on a post just the other day and supposedly (I think they might have been right) I missed the point. It felt brash though. I intend to be more careful to what I reply to.

There are quite a few of us here who are very welcoming, kind, and civil during discussions and debates. However, just like any internet forum, there are a number of jerks. I could list a few usernames for you to watch out for, and I'm fairly certain a couple of these people are the ones who weren't very welcoming to you as you mentioned, buuuut...the bigwig Mods wouldn't appreciate my edginess, even if it's to help out a newbie. Lol

Hope you stick around and are brave enough to join in more.

Was reading through a thread just now where Trump supporters are insisting that Mexico is going to pay for the Great Wall. ... A wall that is not Mexico's idea. I cannot believe people are still thinking this is going to happen. It's actually pretty entertaining.

Although...... Trump followers do seem to follow him to the death... maybe he does have a mind control device.....

Maybe that's why he is orange....Brain ran out of a real skin tone so he improvised but at least he finished the head of his robot.....

That said, still better than Hillary.... but that does not mean I support him, I just think both choices were a joke.

Woot. Just heard that they are remaking Cardcaptor Sakura this year. A modern version just like they did with Sailor Moon a few years ago, it would appear. Yeah, I know I am a guy and in my 30's. (*sings operatically*) DON'T CAAAAAAARE. I'm there, dude.

Noticed some workers cutting down my neighbors tree next door earlier today, and asked for some of it to be used as firewood...looks like I'll be set for awhile, lol.

I'm sure tons of people on this forum would welcome a remake of their favorite childhood cartoon. I'd love to see a high definition remake of Silverwing that follows closer to the books.
