  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Tonight was the first night
of our church summer kids program.
It went really well and I'm going to start helping
prepare crafts with the leader on Tuesdays also.

I saw The Mummy today. It's Universal's third attempt at starting their "Dark Universe" but this is the worst of the three, in my opinion. The Wolfman with Benicio Del Toro was the best, imo. It had that old school monster movie feel, but apparently it wasn't a big success. I wonder what Universal is going to do if this one fails too.

My school has a tradition of providing cookies and cocoa every night before finals to bring us smiles, have us socialize, and in general make us less feral during this immensely stressful week. Tonight my sorority also had Sprinkles cupcakes. So mission accomplished in bringing on the happy. The problem is that it's now 1:30 in the morning and I have the energy of a four-year-old in a bouncy house because of all the sugar.

Decent. I had to put my Etsy shop on vacation mode so I will be out of any money for the rest of the week. Rough but at least things will be fixed!

The wicked better start getting their stories straight... That's all I can say. Because they have a LOT of explaining to do.

If recent events have taught me anything, it's that I'd better start sharpening up myself.

I liked The Mummy with Brendan Fraser, 2 should have never been made, but I heard 3 was a bit better. This one is even worse than The Mummy 2?

We always had Midnight Breakfast the night of Dead Day (which for us was one day, the Monday of Finals Week, where campus effectively operated like a normal day, but there were no classes), and it was always good time.
