  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yep, Id rather rub my nose bloody than use those things..... cause after you use them its like contamination. You cant get rid of it........ its on your nose and feels so nasty until you wash with soap and water.

Those things are pure evil prankster tools.

No, I don't think so. (I've only been on here a few months, so perhaps I'm not the best judge). I don't think there is anything wrong with a guy that is open about his emotions or how he truly feels. That is very different from whining or being a basketcase. I've never picked that up from your posts. In fact, I've wondered if you tend to overcompensate for having empathy and sensitivity and try to come off as being less feeling in your jokes/posts.

Nothing wrong with being open emotionally.
If someone is constantly hurting other through their emotions then that's not good and is something to work on. But if it's just openly sharing emotions i think that can be a good thing. I am not open emotionally so if theres (a rare) someone I want to know about my emotions then I have to tell them plainly or wait until I explode.

There's pros and cons to both, being emotionally open or being emotionally private.


If you meant being sensitive vs indifferent or calloused... I personally get along better with sensitive types. But everyone can be a mix of all of those at different times and they do have a time and a place.

I don't think so.

Honestly, I am too emotional sometimes I think. Part of me hates it, part of me loves it. I hate that I get so emotional, but I do enjoy that I am not that emotionless blank face that shows no emotion at all.

I'm not afraid to show my emotions, though I'd still rather not cry around people
